Attorney Grueschow is an experienced Probate and Estate Administration Attorney who represents clients in the preparation of wills, trusts, living trusts, special needs trusts, living wills and powers of attorney. Michael also represents clients in estate planning, will contests, and real estate matters.

Mr. Grueschow handles all civil cases, and trials both in court and administrative matters. Michael handles both civil and criminal case appeals to the Portage County Court of Appeals, Eleventh District Court of Appeals, other Ohio Courts of Appeal and to The Supreme Court of Ohio. Mr. Grueschow is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, and is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States. Attorney Grueschow has had experience in appellate courts preparing appellate briefs and making oral arguments for his clients for over thirty (30) years.

Michael is an experienced personal injury, accident, and wrongful death trial attorney, with more than twenty (20) years of experience in this speciality area of the law. Attorney Grueschow, before returning to Portage County, where he originally served as an Assistant Portage County Prosecutor after graduating from law school, practiced law and specialized in personal injury, accident, wrongful death and workers compensation law in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio for more than ten (10)  years. Attorney Grueschow has tried more than seventy-five (75)  personal injury, accident, wrongful death and work-related injury cases to a jury, as well as has settled hundreds of such cases favorably to his clients prior to commencing trial either through settlement negotiations or mediation.

Attorney Grueschow has the experience as a former Cleveland area personal injury, accident and wrongful death trial attorney, who now practices in Portage, Summit, Cuyahoga, Trumbull, Mahoning, Medina and Stark and the surrounding counties.

 

Mr. Grueschow handles all cases in Juvenile Court including: Paternity, Custody and Visitation; Child Support; Child Dependency, Neglect and Abuse Claims; and Juvenile Delinquent Criminal and Traffic offenses. Attorney Grueschow has over twenty (20) years of experience handling cases in the Juvenile Courts of Portage, Cuyahoga, Summit, Stark, Trumbull, Lorain, and Mahoning Counties.

He represents Juveniles charged in delinquency cases with both felony and misdemeanor charges. Michael also represents students who are either suspended or expelled from school and/or face other disciplinary action by the local school board.

 

CRIMINAL DEFENSE: Attorney Grueschow is a former Assistant Portage County Prosecutor and a former Associate Portage County Public Defender. Michael represents clients in all felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases including homicides, and other serious felonies, sexual offenses, drug offenses, domestic violence, assault, property offenses and Operation a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, and Driving Under Suspension charges for both adults and juveniles.

He has tried more than one hundred (100) criminal cases to a jury in the State of Ohio, with a winning tradition.
